Keiro Blyth
This warm up is for our dance unit, so following this warm-up, we would go into a watch and repeat style dance, eventually linking each learned move together to make a dance. It would begin with every in a large circle, with lots of room for movement. Students watch the teacher do a dance move, and then would copy, repeating a few times until understood. This continues with several dance moves, learn each individually. Then, the teacher would begin to link the individual dances together, two at a time. Then we would connect all the different dance moves, and learn to put it to music.

- Watch out for other people
- Don’t get too close to your partner
Be mindful that your partner might not have the same abilities as you (ex. splits). Partners can choose to mirror a dance move in a way that feels comfortable to them.
