This site was created to be a online catalogue and resource centre for everything we’ve learned in our year at UVic. On this site you’ll find lesson plans, presentations, ideas, and resources for you in your future teaching practice. Feel free to take a look around and hopefully you can be inspired!

How to Post:
- Log in using your UVic email address. If you don’t have access already, you can email sionedsc@uvic.ca
- Add New Post:
- Write up a brief description about your post
- Upload an image
- To upload PowerPoint slides: Click Add Media, then go to the Upload Files tab in the editor screen. When you click on the Add Document button, a pop-up will appear on your screen prompting you to choose your upload method. From there, click on the Upload Document option and upload your PowerPoint into your post.
- PRO TIP: Export your PowerPoint as a PDF so the layout and formatting doesn’t shift!
- Select a Category based on subject area
- Add Tags you feel are appropriate (eg. Lesson Plan, Unit Plan, Primary, Intermediate, MiddleSchool, etc)
- Choose a Feature Image for your post. This will become the image used as the tile which will make your post more visually appealing when people are looking through the site
- You can find Creative Commons images to use at www.unsplash.com
And voila, you have helped the rest of your classmates to become better teachers in the future!
