Indigenous Literacy Handout with resources: Indigenous Funds of Knowledge FINAL
As we continue our journey as teachers we must be willing to look at our own funds of knowledge, where we come from and our identity. With this knowledge we can better understand our connections and place in the complicated history of Canada which allows us to bring Indigenous knowledge into the classroom in a more authentic and accountable way. To help us on this journey we have included an article by Peggy McIntosh called, “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack.”
